About

As the Superintendent of Farmington School District, I am the lead learner of a great district. We have approximately 2700 students and we are one of fastest growing and top achieving districts in Arkansas! I am blessed to work with a community that takes so much pride in our schools. At Farmington, we have a positive board of directors, positive administrators, positive teachers and a positive staff. I started my education career 24 years ago- but so I’m excited to be a part of the #CardinalNation!

As the former Superintendent of Star City, I had the opportunity to lead the culture shift from negativity and financial disarray, to a student focused environment.  We strived to be a school district that was student centered and innovative. With the creation of two schools of innovation, one-to-one technology, and PK-12 STEM education we were providing engaging learning.  Financially, we were able to build new, safer facilities and give a raise to all our amazing staff! I was awarded the AAE Administrator of the Year for supporting our arts programs and the Chamber of Commerce “Man of the Year” for supporting and serving the community. We turned around the district financially and constructed a new arena and completely revamped the football field for our students who probably had some of the worst facilities in Arkansas. Every day we were able to watch students grow and develop not only content knowledge but also 21st Century Skills.
